Join the San Francisco Unified School District's (SFUSD) Environmental Literacy for All Initiative for a day of workshops, hands-on learning, and exhibitions from members of the San Francisco Science, Sustainability and Stewardship Collaborative and SFUSD teachers. Learn how to bring science lessons outside and take home materials to try out in your classroom!
The conference includes a presentation by keynote speaker Mary Ellen Hannibal on citizen science, as well as free workshops presented by organizations including Presidio Trust, Center for Critical Environment and Global Literacy, Share the Savings, and Aquarium of the Bay.
Free catered lunch is provided, and a resource fair includes information about professional development, field trip, and student learning opportunities.
